Who is responsible
- Site operator
- Peeter Tomberg operates Peeter's Maker Hub and decides how measurement is configured on this website.
- Contact
- Contact Peeter through the Maker Hub Discord. Please use a direct message rather than posting personal information publicly.
What this site processes
- Information you submit
- This marketing site has no account, contact form, or checkout and does not ask you for a name, email address, payment information, or account details.
- Anonymous site analytics
- Vercel Web Analytics records anonymous page views and events, including the page, referrer, coarse location, device, browser, and operating system. Vercel says these records are aggregated, are not tied to an individual or IP address, and do not use third-party cookies.
See Vercel's Web Analytics privacy and compliance documentation for its current technical description.
Google Ads measurement
The Google tag is used to understand whether a Google ad leads to a click through to an Elgato Marketplace listing. The site uses Google's basic consent mode and does not use Google Analytics or personalized advertising.
- Before permission
- Advertising storage, advertising user data, personalization, and analytics storage default to denied. The Google Ads library is not requested and no Google Ads measurement data is sent while measurement is declined.
- When allowed
- Google Ads may use advertising cookies, an ad-click identifier, the page URL, device information, IP-derived location, and the Marketplace conversion event. Advertising personalization remains denied.
- Legal basis and control
- Permission is the basis for advertising storage and advertising user-data processing. You can decline, or later change and withdraw your choice through Privacy choices in the site footer.
Read Google's consent mode explanation and privacy policy.
Storage and retention
- Your preference
- The measurement choice is stored in your browser until you change it, clear site storage, or use a different browser or device.
- Vercel
- Vercel says its hashed visitor session is discarded after 24 hours. Aggregated records remain available according to the reporting window of the site's Vercel plan.
- Google controls retention in its advertising systems. Its published policy says advertising server-log IP information is anonymized after nine months and cookie information after eighteen months, with some information kept for different periods for security, legal, or aggregated reporting purposes.
Service providers and transfers
Vercel hosts the site and provides Web Analytics and Speed Insights. Google provides advertising measurement. These companies may process information in countries outside your own under their data-processing terms and applicable transfer safeguards. Their linked privacy documentation explains their current practices and subprocessors.
When you visit the Marketplace
- Destination
- This site sends you to the relevant plugin listing on the Elgato Marketplace.
- Checkout
- Purchases, regional currency display, and account handling are managed by the Elgato Marketplace after you leave this site.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing. Anonymous aggregate records may not be linkable back to you.
Contact Peeter through Discord to make a privacy request. You may also complain to the data-protection supervisory authority in the country where you live or work. If a request concerns information controlled directly by Google, Vercel, or Elgato, their own privacy request process may be required.
