Built by the person who uses it

The work starts at my own desk. If a control takes too many clicks, hides behind another window, or feels awkward on the hardware, I try to turn that friction into one clear interaction.

Small utilities are easy to underestimate. They may only remove one interruption, but that interruption can happen dozens of times a day. I would rather solve that one problem carefully than pad a product with features that do not belong together.

1. Notice the repeated friction

   Start with a control that keeps interrupting normal use or takes more attention than it should.

2. Prototype on the hardware

   Find the shortest useful interaction on real Stream Deck keys, dials, and touch displays.

3. Build, test, and refine

   Shape the visual feedback around that interaction and test the edge cases at the same desk where the problem started.

4. Ship and support it directly

   Publish through the Elgato Marketplace, listen to real use, and keep support connected to the person who can improve the product.

That is why the current plugins are sold separately, use one-time pricing, and stay close to the control surface they were designed for. Product details and compatibility are checked against the live Marketplace listings.

My current work is a set of four focused Stream Deck plugins: dial-and-touch controls through Now Playing, and glanceable key controls through Playback. Both are available for Windows media and Sonos.
